New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May.

CAPE MAY – A much anticipated event among locals and visitors alike, this sale has a well established tradition of featuring plants that are native, adaptable, beneficial to wildlife and often unavailable anywhere else. But it is the opportunity for enthusiasts and neophytes alike to talk with long time local gardeners, backyard habitat experts and Master Gardeners that makes this plant sale a much anticipated event for gardeners throughout the State.

This year’s sale will feature 16 different species of shrubs and trees and some 70 perennial flowers, all of which attract birds, butterflies and hummingbirds to your yard!

We have checked with our supplier and are happy to report that the vast majority of your plants are flourishing and will be ready for the May 11 and 12 pick-up weekend.

Preorders are recommended but we always order extras, and this year’s sale will feature surprise varieties, so come out on May 11 after 9:00 a.m. or May 12 from 11 to 4, and jump start your garden by supporting New Jersey Audubon’s Nature Center of Cape May.

NOTE: If any of the plants that you order are not available at pick-up time, we will gladly issue a refund or credit for another plant of similar size from out “Extras Area.” Feel free to ask a volunteer Master Gardener for advice.
